Since surgical penis enlargement was popularized in the U.S. in 1991, thousands of men have searched
out doctors to have their penises enlarged. The phalloplasty
augmentation field has grown exponentially.
In 1995, the
American Academy of Phalloplasty Surgeons was formed to learn
of the latest surgical techniques, to network and collaborate,
and to disseminate information to the public. Our goal is to increase
educational opportunities and to strive for optimal patient care.
The Academy is comprised largely
of urologists and plastic surgeons, although doctors in related
areas are welcome and invited to join.
